Update Post

Two new folders and some additions

A couple of weeks ago during winter break, our friend Wook came back for a little while to visit. During this time we decided we should refurbish our summer routine of going to the Opelika Sportsplex to play the frisbee golf course. I decided to take my camera and snap a couple of shots as we went through the woods.

The couple of pictures are linked under the picture to the left. I am very happy with how these came out. I've been wanting to edit subjects in the woods so I really appreciate my bois for posing for me and let me practice with them. I really wanted to edit a picture with inspiration for one of my favorite photographers Kurt Cuffy. I love the faded green-tone he often has in his images. His video for Movements Dailly is my favorite piece of his and the look he has in that video and related projects is what I was trying to make into my own on the picture above. I'm not even going to bluff/ hide it; I watch the video for Daylily at least once a day if not more.  I'd love to have more people to shoot so if anyone wants to go into the woods and let me shoot you, please contact me.

I also added a picture into the Objects folder (left). Not exactly sure what the point of this folder is going to be currently. I'm kind of thinking of making it into a project of taking picture of a place/thing that means something to me. Only thing about that idea: will I be able to find enough content for that project. Oops.

Sully came out for this cold, windy day of frisbee golf so I used this as an opportunity to add to him to my doggo portraits. Sully is my homie Jonah's goodboi.  I'm also really happy with how this one came out. I got the right look I wanted to achieve, which I guess is satisfying; a popping blue and  winter green with a white lighted doggo. Thanks, Sully.

The g-Rich file

Grant asked me to go to Columbus with him in 40 degrees to take some pictures of him on his scooter. I obliged, and we took the trip out there. When we set up for the first shot I realize the camera has one bar left of battery life. I told him he had to make it these shots worth it, and he followed through. We had a quick 10 minute- low battery shoot then I froze around while they guys all did cool tricks and froze. Props to these guys though, I lost feeling in hands and toes, and these guys are flipping these boards around without feeling in theirs.
